Double Success for Oakhill Secure Training Centre
Rebound Children’s Services, part of G4S Care & Justice Services, are delighted to announce that Oakhill Secure Training Centre (Oakhill STC)has achieved British Safety Council 5 Star Accreditation, with a score of almost 93%. This brings Oakhill into line with both Medway and Rainsbrook STCs who already hold this impressive accreditation.
The accreditation recognises excellence in Health & Safety and is achieved through a review of health and safety performance of the business, from management right through to the implementation of associated systems in the workplace. Benefits to the business include benchmarking effectiveness of health and safety systems, identifying areas for improvement and a safer working environment for all.
The news comes on the back of Oakhill STC receiving confirmation that, six months after adopting the Investors in People framework for business improvement, they have been now been granted Investors in People status.
