  Arrival & Induction

We recognise that when your child arrives at one of our centres they may be bewildered, tired and worried about their situation and so we try to carry out our admission process in as considerate and caring a manner as possible.

This starts with an interview and assessment by our experienced staff and a member of our Youth Offending Services Team will also be present.  Your child will be given various pieces of information and this will include:

- Handouts about the Centre and their rights
- Information about what is acceptable behaviour and privileges which can be earned through achievement   and satisfactory behaviour
- A provisional date of release, which will be subject to written confirmation from the Youth Justice Board
- The name of their key worker to whom they will be introduced
